ENSO 03 Shampoo for Thick Hair

I received this product for free from Influenster and Vegamour in exchange for my honest review. I have thick, slightly coarse hair that is very frizzy and is a big ball of poof after it's washed. After using this shampoo, my hair still had volume, but the frizz and poof were minimal! It also defined my waves without me having to style my hair, or use any additional styling products. My hair felt soft and much smoother than it does with other shampoos I have used. The only reason I took a star off, is that the scent wasn't my favorite. It's supposed to be a combination of jasmine, ylang ylang and yuzu, but it smelled more chemically to me at first, but it wasn't bad once it dried down. I do like that this a clean, vegan formula and that it sill provided the moisture my hair needed so that it didn't frizz and poof up. It gave the right amount of moisture without my hair looking limp or stringy and retaining the volume. I would recommend this shampoo and will be purchasing it again.

I’m always excited to try new hair products especially ones that are clean and geared towards my specific hair type - mid length, thick & color treated.

First off the packaging is very high end/pretty - simple and muted colors. The shampoo was a good texture and it lathers really nicely. I didn’t love how my hair felt immediately following rinsing…felt extra dry. After conditioning and drying I will say that my hair was soft and clean and not frizzy. I’m also not a huge fan of the scent…too lemony and cleaning product reminiscent but the scent was not as strong after washing. Overall I’ve used several times, as I only wash my hair 2-3x per week and I will continue to use to see how the adaptogenic formula adapts to my hair. Overall I’d recommend to anyone looking for a clean brand.
